Fashion show at the Milk Market
Limerick School of Art & Design will host a major fashion show at The Milk Market , Thursday 16th May, 8pm.
‘Nineteen’ will showcase collections by 19 final year fashion students
from LSAD who have recently completed international work placements with
prestigious design houses - Alexander Wang New York , Sharon Wauchob
Paris, Barbara I Gongini Denmark, Phillip Treacy London and Amit
Aggarwal India.
It will also show work by celebrated LSAD fashion
alumni Joanne Hynes, Natalie B. Coleman, Tim Ryan and Danielle Romeril.
The Fashion Show will take place in a city centre location in
Limerick’s historic Milk Market. Mike Fitzpatrick, head of School of
LSAD has commented “The move of the LSAD Fashion Show to the city centre
Milk Market is continuing evidence of LIT’s commitment to enhance the
cultural fabric of the city and support the City of Culture designation
for Limerick.” Supported by Limerick City Council, this use of a city
centre stage for the famous fashion show also ties in with LIT’s
proposed expansion of its city Centre Campus.
